Job Description:
Teacher KOREAN TEACHER. New York NY. Teach Korean lang to HS students. Create Korean curric & select course mat'ls. Assign, review & correct homework, tests. Eval & assess indiv. student skills & pinpoint areas needing further instruction, guidance. Document all instruct mat'ls & methods. Use consistent schl-wide practices & individ methods to engage students. Analyze student perf to eval acad achievmt. Assist to create, monitor & sustain disciplined schl culture of high acad & behav stds. Communic w/ principal on student perf. Keep abreast of developm'ts in lang teaching methods & resources. Observe & coach 1-2 Korean teachers, review their teaching mat'ls, provide feedback & assess prof'l devel. Track student achvmt w/in Korean dept. Conduct dept mtgs, oversee dept purchasing & events, plan dept prof'l devel activities. BA in Educ. & Korean fluency req'd. $90,029/y.
